KRISTIAN JAMES

I have over 20 years’ experience across both travel and the entertainment industry. I began my career as cabin crew with British Airways and Virgin Atlantic before training as a travel consultant and quickly moving into specialist media and entertainment travel. I spent several years at ITV working closely with production teams, managing travel for major primetime entertainment shows including I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here and The Voice, as well as high-end scripted productions for Netflix such as You (Series 4). Alongside television, I’ve supported large-scale international music touring — including arena tours for artists such as Ariana Grande and Coldplay — as well as major fashion events, international shoots, and media-led productions.

I launched Pathfinder Touring just over a year ago after spending much of my career working on both sides of the fence — within travel management companies and directly inside the entertainment industry itself. Over time, I saw how easily personal service can be lost as businesses grow, teams are stretched, and staff turnover increases, leaving tour and production managers repeatedly starting from scratch. Pathfinder Touring was created as a response to that reality: to offer a genuinely personal, sustainable service where clients work with the same person consistently, capacity is respected, and industry knowledge is never diluted. I believe that when travel is handled by someone who truly understands the pressures of touring and production — and has the time to do it properly — it makes a tangible difference to how smoothly everything else runs.

I’m a travel specialist who thrives on the “impossible” itinerary. With 19 years in the industry, I’ve built my career around supporting the fast-moving, high-pressure world of entertainment, film, and production travel — where schedules shift, plans change, and the details really matter.

I understand that in music, TV, and media, a standard nine-to-five approach doesn’t work. That’s why I work across U.S. business hours, keeping me aligned with production offices, touring teams, and key decision-makers when the pressure is on and time zones don’t cooperate.

Whether it’s multi-stop routing, last-minute schedule changes, complex passenger requirements, or keeping a large team moving smoothly, my focus is always the same: remove friction, keep everything organised, and make sure travel is the part of the job you don’t have to worry about.

EMILY SAUNDERS

I’ve spent over 12 years working across the entertainment industry, with a focus on major musicals and international touring.

Over that time, I’ve supported touring productions, A-list talent, and their wider teams — from production and management to crew and support staff — coordinating travel that has to work under pressure and at pace. My experience includes complex, multi-stop itineraries, large group movements, and end-to-end logistics, with the flexibility to adapt quickly when schedules change.

A big part of my work is keeping everything aligned behind the scenes — from rehearsals and performance calls to hotel logistics, transfers, and routing across multiple cities. I’m used to working with touring teams who need fast answers, clear options, and practical solutions, especially when plans shift at short notice.

Whether it’s moving a full company between show weeks, coordinating travel for creatives and technical teams, or supporting ongoing touring schedules, I focus on delivering travel solutions that are organised, responsive, and reliable — so productions can stay focused on what they do best.

I’ve spent almost two decades working in the music industry, travelling the world with artists and managing the realities of life on the road — where timing, flexibility and dependability are everything.

I began my career at Twenty First Artists, the management company co-founded by Elton John, working with acts including James Blunt, Lily Allen, Empire of the Sun and Ed Sheeran. I later worked across music and sport management, before founding my own company, Kin Entertainment, where I’ve spent more than a decade managing artists, tours and international projects, including the UEFA Champions League Final, overseeing talent transport at the highest level.

I joined Travel Counsellors in 2020 and specialise in touring and entertainment travel. I book travel with a deep understanding of how tours actually work — the pressure, the last-minute changes, the need for discretion and absolute reliability. I don’t just book travel; I see myself as an extension of the team and I love supporting my clients with seamless planning, stress-free logistics, and solutions that keep tours running smoothly.

Bringing over twenty years’ experience in the travel industry, I have specialised in the music / entertainment sector for the last decade.

I manage travel for many international bands, artists and DJs, handling everything from fly in-fly out dates to complex multi-stop / multi-country itineraries with large touring parties and excess baggage requirements.

My clients run from Grammy & Brit Award winners through to freshly signed up & coming artists. I have been with some teams from the full transition from grass roots venues in splitter vans through to stadium & festival headliners.

I am committed to developing strong relationships with my clients, understanding their travel requirements completely and delivering a seamless end-to-end experience. On time & on budget.

I know the little things that make a big difference: Which airlines to use to minimise baggage costs, offering artist appropriate hotel recommendations & ensuring traveller preferences are in every booking. Small details but critically important for Tour Manager & traveller alike.
